a) Critically appraise Benetton as a sustainable global brand.? (2 paragraph)
Bentton founder Luciano Benetton started his entrepreneurial venture using what he considered a niche market at the time. He observed that most of the clothes that people wore were less colored, so he decided that there was a clear market for colorful products of considerable quality. Benetton's passionate observation proved that right, and the company has grown into a global clothing company like Benetton now. To determine if a global brand can be maintained, it is necessary to first examine why the brand has become a global brand and what makes it popular. One of Bentton's main goals is to provide high quality clothing as well as try to provide clothing that most people like. There is no reason why this win-win formula can not survive for centuries for Bentton to be successful, it just needs to ensure that they stay in touch with the needs of the world and continue to maintain a well-known and popular brand. This last point may seem easy to achieve, but Bentton likes to use controversial issues as part of his institutional campaign. These campaigns aim to promote the company as a whole, not just any kind of clothing.
Bentton's advanced distribution and distribution system makes fast
delivery possible with minimal effort and cost. To address this,
Benetton (September 2000) recently launched its own online shopping
site, affiliated with Accenture (former Andersen consultant) called
it. This site now allows customers to purchase any of the many
clothing items Benton offers and distribute it for free to any
destination in the UK, Germany or Italy. Therefore, the current
languages available on the site are English, German and Italian,
although it is limited to a wide range of sites to allow purchases
from all product chains and distribution worldwide. The impact of
this movement on Bentton is not significant. Although e-commerce
sites have been struggling recently, theex.it has Bentton backing
it through all the difficult times that can happen. Benetton did
its best to ensure that the site was as useful as possible,
offering it in as many different languages as possible and
allowing for distribution in as many areas as possible. The effects
of Bentton's expansion using different networks will not be as
significant, but if they change, as the original question suggests,
the impact may be significant. Benetton always put a lot of time
and effort into making sure their store is designed in a specific
way so that they sell the best product.
