Leadership is a complex process that requires leaders to critically appraise the circumstances in which they find themselves to best determine how to lead and influence those around them. There are multiple tactics a leader can employ in any given circumstance to influence a situation or their followers. Compare two leaders you have dealt with in the past. What different tactics did these leaders employ to influence situations or people? Which tactics were successful? Which tactics were not successful? As a leader, how can you critically appraise situations to make sure you select appropriate tactics for influencing a given situation?
Two leaders dealt with in the past are Transactional leasers
like CEO they focus on supervision, group and organization
performance. They deal with the day to day activity progress, they
motivate and engage the followers toward a shared vision. They are
outcome-oriented, the employes a form of management and the stats
quo makes close supervision on employees. Transactional leaders use
a strong relationship as a powerful tactile. Thye uses their
special knowledge and skills, qualifications for gaining team
promotion.
Next is nurse leaders as a transformational leader they impact
their followers by inspiring mission and vision and make the
followers gain their self-identity. They change their follower's
values, beliefs, and attitudes. They act as a role model to
influence others, they use tactile as intellectual stimulation to
encourage others in innovative ways. influence progress impacts
others.
Transformational leadership will be more successful because they
focus on team-building, collaboration, motivation in different
levels, they promote their subordinates to higher performance
levels for personal and professional growth.
Transactional leaders do not focus on strategically guiding the
organization they supervise followers whether everything flows
safely.
As a CEO we can act as a transformational leader to make the
organization on the mission and more effective. It helps for
strategic development and focus on rapid success by team-building
skills as they are the leaders.
