There is a positive relationship between reward and performance. Managers should find ways to motivate employees to enhance performance. Rewarding employees with incentives can increase their performance. Rewards other pay increases a sense of belonging among employees. Pay for performance increases productivity of the employees. PFP research focuses on organizational outcomes. Compensation influences retention and performance of employees. This article addresses few of the objectives mentioned in the assignment. First it is related to the reward system, second it is related to the performance of the employees and organization overall. Reward system increases the sense of belonging among employees, which ultimately results in increased performance, resulting in changing organization outcomes.

Yes, the reward systems and pay for performance have a positive correlation with performance. Employees feel that they're appreciated for their efforts when they're paid for performance. According to a study by SHRM, the significance of pay has an impact on the motivation of employees. If there was no reward for the effort employees put in, the productivity is going to remain stagnant. However, employees tend to do better when they know that the extra efforts give them incentives. This also gives them a sense of belonging. Therefore, reward and performance do have a positive correlation. Managers must strive to do their best to make employees feel that they belong to the organization and also appreciate all their efforts.
