Question 1: All are correct.

TBP recognizes 5’-TATAAA-3’. It is considered as a universal transcription factor. It is also a part of transcription factor (TF) IID and binds to consensus sequence (TATAAA).

Question 2: Made up of alternating phosphate and sugar groups.

Alternating units of phosphate and deoxyribose units form DNA backbone, while nitrogenous bases are packed inside the helix.
