Here, we have considered the time frame from 1992 to 2012, during this timeframe, let me name various primary competency domains and factors for the HR Profession, these are as stated below:

  • Staffing and Recruitment of Human Resources: HR Professional had to work on recruitment tasks, they took resources based on the needs of the organization, some resources was taken for long term and some resources just taken considering the short contract terms.
  • Development and training arrangement of such Employee resources: during this time, HR professionals were more concern about the training of their workers and employees within the workplace, as there was only few training center outside the workplace, organization had to put attention of several training program like behavioral training program, technical training program, leadership training program, on job training program.
  • Work on performance management: performance management was usually manual process; employees were evaluated based on the feedback given by their supervisors.
  • Maintain Legal and Regulatory compliances and Build Organizational Structure
