The qualitative perspective on research appeals to me. This is because this perspective aims at gaining an in depth understanding of people and their realty. It takes a person centric approach to research. I agree with the propositions of qualitative research that a researcher cannot be truly objective. This approach requires the researcher to acknowledge his values and prevent them from influencing the results. It provides a worm's eye view as compared to a bird's eye view provided by quantitative research.
