When Resistance in series then equivalent resistance must be equal to the sum of all the resiatance.

As in given figure R1,R2,R3,R4 and R5 are in series so equivalent resistance R​​​​​​eq.

R​​​​​​eq.=R​​​​1+R​​​2+R3+R4+R​​​​​​5

R1=140 ohm

R2 =160 ohm

R3= 0.1 kilo ohm = 100ohm

R4 = 90 ohm

R5 =125 ohm

R​​​​​eq. =140+160+100+90+125 =615 ohm
