1. Syncratic

This decision concept is one of the decisions making process in the household in the nuclear family. It is the phenomenon in which both wife and husband have equal influence on decision making process. Here both the husbands and wife share equal importance. Both may be employed or unemployed. They take their decision so that one's decision may not affect others or the family. They take their decision in similar manner so that it also may not affect their children. If there is a conflict between them, they may speak together frankly about solving their crisis.

2. Democractic :

In democratic decision making most of the decisions are been taken by the majority of the people who participate or who rule. It is also can be called as particpated democracy in which political leaders take decisions on behalf of people. It is simply majority rule. Here the decision making process can be delayed due to numerous process and procedures. Here voice of the people also plays a major role.

Eg : Bill discussed and passed in Indian parliament

3. Authoritative:

Here decision making is simply done by the person who is responsible or by the person who held responsible. It is a quick process for the person to take decision. The leader needs to think of all possibilities , outcomes and perspectives before taking decision.

Eg : Decision by the doctor in terms of emergency

4. Authoritarian  

It is also called autocratic decision making process . Here the leader takes control of all process and gives low power to his juniors. There is less participation. Leader has the major role. There is no suggestion or feedback from subordinates. Sometimes it may cause people to rebel against the leader.
