In basic solution, H+ would be lost from indicator.

So, Ind- is formed and its color is red.

In acidic solution, H+ would be present on indicator.

So, HInd is formed and its color is blue.

Here we are HIO3 which is acid.

That is we are adding H3O+

For the given equilibrium reaction, H3O+ is product and on adding more product, the equilibrium would shift to left.

Since equilibrium shifts to left HInd is formed and hence solution color would be blue
