  • Both the things are important but having technical competency is much more important because:-
  1. Every organization whether small or large aims to put the right person at the right job.
  2. Proper staffing is mandatory for the success of organization.
  3. Placing competent person at the job helps in achieving the goals of an organization in effective and efficient manner.
  4. The personality match with the culture of organization is a secondary factor and not a primary factor.
  5. If an employee is technically competent enough then it will help in achieving personal as well as organizational goals in an effective and efficient manner.
