Explanation: Complement system is one of most important sytem which get activated during immune response. One of main work of complement system is to clear up gathering of pathogens. Pathogens get recognised by antibodies and proteins produced by complement system for their surface antigens. Attached antibody and protein makes an interconnected network which clumps pathogens then phagocytes ingest these interconnected pathogens. Apart from this they have crucial role in chemotaxis and inflamation too.
