Answer #1

1. Chronic illness includes various types of diseases like asthma, diabetes etc. These diseases have both physical and mental effect. These diseases are not so dangerous and these diseases do not cause instant death. But these diseases have slow effect. One becomes mentally weak along with physical illness. It has effect on brain and major parts of body. Such diseases are harmful to kidney, heart, lungs etc.

2. Terminal illness is related to life threatening issue and such diseases cause certain death of the victim. Therefore these diseases have great mental effect. The patients have some coping skills and they become familiar with it. They fear death. At the initial stage it becomes very difficult to accept the certain death. The victim becomes very weak. The effect on brain is very hard. They are in great depression. But gradually they are habituated and they are to welcome what may happen.
