Ans 55) 1. Development of the cartilage model : First 2 months.

The process of formation of bone occurs between sixth and seventh week during the Embryonic developmemt.

2. development of primary ossification centre : At 2-3 months.

Developmemt of bone cell rams up and produces the centre of primary ossification during the 2nd and 3​​​​​​rd month of fetal life.

3. Development of secondary ossification centre : Adolescence.

During the post natal and adolscent secondary ossification Centre development starts.

4. closure of of epiphyseal plates : Adolescence.

Growth plate fusion takes place in the age of 15-16 years for girls and 14-19 years for boys.
