2. immunity; for example, antibodies are proteins (Antibodies are the body's defensive forces which protect our body from the harmful antigens and these antibodies or immunoglobulins are proteins)

3. enzymes are proteins [Enzymes are the important biocatalysts which catalyzes the biochemical reactions in our body and chemically enzymes are proteins except a few (ribozyme)].

4. keeping fluid in blood vessels/fluid regulation (Proteins like Albumin and globulin helps in maintaining our body’s fluid balance by attracting and retaining water).
