Conflict is defined by various scholars with different perspectives. Some argue that it has negative consequences which should not be tolerated in organizations whereas some argue that conflict serves as grounds to make effective organizational decisions. Thus, a degree of conflict is, therefore, desirable but not too much. Justify this assertion.

In the various organizations, conflicts helps the employees or managers to know about other fellow employees or managers in the workplace. Conflicts help the person to get motivated towards their work and try to achieve more with their work. Conflicts can be both a positive or negative thing for a person in the organization. However, most of the time, it makes chaos in the organization's workplace, as conflicts also lead to miscommunication between the employees, which disturbs the healthy relationship between the employees. It also disturbs the workplace's peaceful environment, which directly affects the working of the organization's other employees and objectives. Conflicts need to get sorted quickly so that every employee can focus on their goals to achieve the organizational objectives effectively and efficiently. Undoubtedly, conflicts also improve the quality of performance of the employees, but it also affects the healthy environment, which should not happen in the organization. A high level of conflicts will lead to the organization's downfall, which will not be acceptable by the leading authorities. Thus, they need to take some severe steps regarding the conflicts and try to maintain the decorum in the organization's workplace.
