Answer #1

Women in criminal justice occupations face many challenges than that of men.The two main challenges faced are differentiation and command over females by men. These challenges are often witnessed in criminal justice occupations and offices by women whereas many men dont face such problems. But most of the women are sentenced and they get to face disparities and superiorty.Rules, regulations, strategies, facilities, plans of criminal justice organisations are not prepared according to women.Women and their problems are not taken into consideration while preparing the strategies and plans which are related to criminal justice organisations.Working hours, uniforms, etc aren't planned according to women and their problems are not taken account.Even work is distributed among two genders with differentiation.Women and female staff of criminal justice occupations should take a stand against this differentiation by raising their voice. They should fight for their rights and should explain their problems in detail to higher management of the organisation and can even demand the organisation to maintain impartiality while planning working hours, distributing work, etc.By this step, differentiation can be wiped out to some extent.Another major challenge faced by women in criminal justice occupation is command or superiority from opposite gender. In most of the situations, women are not included in meetings conducted by criminal justice organisations.Even if they are allowed to attend the meetings, they are suppressed are not allowed to share their views regarding managerial or organisational decisions.Even bigger projects are not given to women and their efficiency is not considered while assigning projects.Where as most of the men wont witness such problems and are offered with better deals and best projects. To overcome this challenge, women should prove that they are equal efficient when compared to opposite genders. They should ask the organisation to assign bigger projects and should crack the projects with success. This will help all the women and will be offered bigger projects.Hence, these are few challenges faced by women than men in criminal justice occupations.By following the prescribed ways, women can overcome these challenges to some extent.
