Mechanical vector is that which transmits the disease from the contaminated substance to the person.
Eg : housefly which sits on a cowdumg then lands on a food substance.

The label for the second picture is the biologic vector.
They transmit the disease from one person to another.
Eg: mosquitoes transmit malaria , dengue which are blood borne diseases.
