Have =50mg nipride ; convert to mcg = 50X1000 = 50000mcg
volume =250ml
time duration =60min/hr
formula:
Dose order X weight Xvolume X time / Have (dose of drug you have)
3mcg/kg/min X 75kg X 250ml X 60min/hr / 50,000mcg (50mg X 1000mcg /1mg)
= 33,75,000 / 50,000 = 67.5ml =round up to 68ml/hr
flow rate 68ml/hr
