Answer #1

The American language doesn’t provide any social distinction or protocol such as maybe other languages do because as per American culture, even people with higher social ranking and political or professional influence are called by their names, rather than by using designations such as sir or madam. This does not create any social distinction for any person as per the American language in a professional environment and gives equal importance to each person. However in some other languages and cultures, there is a practice of giving respect to people belonging to higher social status or having a higher professional status by calling them sir or madam which is not do in the American language which makes it different and unique as compared to other languages.
