Answer #1

A)

image is formed on the same side means image distance is negative.

so,

1/f = 1/do + 1/di

1/f = 1/16 - 1/13

f = - 69.33 cm

B)

This is a Diverging lens

C)

we know

y' / y = di / do

y' / 8.50 = 13 / 16

y' = 6.906 mm
