Answer #1

1) Angular momentum Quantum number

2)For n=3, l has three values l= 0,1,2

For l = 0 ,no of orbit = 1

For l = 1 ,no of orbit = 3

For l = 2,no of orbit = 5

So total number of orbits = 9

3) According to Bohr Bury Scheme ,Number of electrons for a given n = 2n^2

For n = 3, it is 18

4)No of orbits for a given l is 2l+1

For l=3, 2l+1=7

5)Number of subshells for n=5 is 5

6) Number of valence electrons cannot exceed 4

7)spin down

8)Incorrect

9)If there are 1-2 valence electrons they can move freely.

10)The statement is correct if the separation is very small such that strong force interaction occurs between the two protons.
