All arteries have blood pressure or pulse in common to conduct the blood away from heart. They also contains thick middle( tunica media) layer with elastic properties.

The pulmonary artery carry deoxygenated blood while the pulmonary vein carry oxygenated blood

The Systemic circuit carries deoxygenated blood to the rightside of the heart where it is pumped to the lungs.the systemic circuit carries oxygenated blood to the cells of the body.

Human circulatory system is divided into pulmonary Circuit and systematic circuit. The Systemic Circuit carries oxygenated blood( aorta) from the heart and returns deoxygenated blood( inferior and superior vena cava ) to the heart. Systemic circuit helps in the distribution and removal of blood from tissues.

Pulmonary Circuit carries deoxygenated blood (pulmonary artery) to the lungs and carries oxygenated blood (pulmonary vein) to the heart.
