Answer #1

The properties of air at 325K are taken from the heat and mass transfer data book by C P Kothandaraman.

Assume the flow is fully turbulent flow.

sol :- Given, velocity of flow (V) = 5 m/s flat plate (L) = 1m heat flow (6) Length of - 1250 W m 325k :: At 52°C, the proper018 VB Tux 0.0 308 (Rex>0.2) Pr Rex=0,2 5 8 0,2 0.55 x105 18.154 x10-6 0.0308 * (0.558109) 0 (0.697) 0.8 Nura i Non = 169.278.) Average Temperature of Plate surface q ha >> (77.01 - 75) - 1250 24:03 :. Tg = 24,99°C X THE END

> when trying to find the surface temperature at x, you need to either convert the air temperature from Celsius to Kelvin, or the heat flux and the convection coefficient units to W/m^2.C so that you can have a homogeneous system and calculate properly. the same thing applies to the average temperature of plate surface.
