Answer #1

Cognitive dissonance happens when one of your belief, attitude, or behaviour conflicts with another belief, attitude, or behaviour. Cognitive dissonance can be resolved by either changing one of the belief, attitude, or behaviour. Or else by Justifying the belief, attitude, or behaviour by adding new information. So, there are instances where attittude change follows behaviour change.

For example: Michael doesn't like to take tablets. Physician recommend Michael to take medicine inorder to cure his illness. Now, he started to take tablets thrice in a day. Here, Michael's attittude contradicts with his behaviour. So, either he has to stop taking medicine or change his attittude inorder to have conssonance. He is probably going to change his attittude so that he will continue to take medicine and cure his illness.
