1) E.coli - Escherichia coli is an intestinal bacterium. The quality of water is checked by using the presence of E.coli in it. This is gram negative and rod shaped bacterium. Some E.coli are good for the digestive tract and some will cause diarrhea. This are also known as the coliform bacteria.

2)E. aerogenes - Enterobacter aerogenes is gram negative rod shaped bacterium. This bacterium is radially surrounded by flagellum.

3)P. hauseri - Proteus hauseri  is a rod shaped gram negative bacterium. They are mainly aerobic bacterium.

4) A. faecalis - Alcaligenes faecalis is a negative rod shaped bacterium and are common in the environment.

5)K. pneumoniae - Klebsiella pneumonia  are gram negative,rod shaped bacteria. They are non-motile and encapsulated.They may be aerobic or anerobic.These types are lactose fermenting bacteria.

6)S. aureus - Staphylococcus aureus is a gram positive and round shaped bacterium(cocci). It is mainly found on the upper respiratory tract and on the skin.

7)S. epidermidis - Staphylococcus epidermidis is also a gram positive and round shaped cocci. It is a common bacteria in human skin and both aerobic and facultatively anerobic.

8)E. faecalis - Enterococcus faecalis is a gram positive cocci. They are mainly found on the intestinal tract of mammals and found with faeces.

9)K.rhizophila - Kocuria rhizophila is a gram positive cocci. These are soil bacteria.

10)B. subtilis - Bacillus subtilis is gram positive rod shaped bacteria.The other name for it is hay bacillus.They are found in soil as well as in Intestinal tract.

11)C. xerosis - Corynebacterium xerosis is a rod shaped gram positive bacteria found in the skin of animals.

12)B. cereus - Bacillus cereus is a gram positive rod shaped bacterium. It is a facultative anerobic bacteria.They are found in soil and food items.
