Ans(1) : Air tightness test is a method in which measurement of total air lost is being done through the leaks in th building fabric. Pressure equalization across walls needs to be done so that the air lost is being found by comparing the volume of the air in the fabric. So the given statement is True.

Ans(2) : False. The given statement is false as the shape of a building has a significant role in influencing the heat loss in the building. Greater the surface area of the building more will be the heat gain or loss. The ratio of surface area and volume is also very much important in determining the heat loss through the building.
