According to right hand thumb rule if u hold a current Carrying conductor on ur right hand such that current flowing direction is rrepresented by thumb then the curling fingers gives the direction of magnetic filed.

In a similar way we can approach this case (solenoid or coil) also. See below picture. If the curling fingers represent the direction of current(In loop current is flowing like rotation) then thumb give the direction of magnetic filed.  

In this question if u apply this principle u can see the thumb is towards left of solonoid (black colourd end), which is the magnetic field direction.

----B —.2. If currents is in clock wise direction ,then there developed pole is South and if current flowing counter clockwise , then there develop N pole.

In the given diagram, if u notice at left end of solenoied (black ) ,current is counter clock wise. There fore there formed North pole.
