Starbucks must diversify in order to gain higher market share and provide diversify product mix to its customers. The reason for this is, it has a good brand image and a loyal customer base and focusing itself on diversifying, will help the company to move forward and produce new product mix . Starbucks has also been quite successful in diversifying new products and it has successful diversify itself in the Beverage business. The strategy of diversification has been quite successful for Starbucks in the recent past and it has diversified itself on the basis of of operation and overall proportion of it services. Starbucks must surely diversify itself and it is no secret that Starbucks is also trying to diversify its product offerings to include more than just coffee stores and it can leverage its brand to open of coffee stores internationally while in the more mature business markets across the world. Diversification will help Starbucks in potentially increasing sales by a significant amount and its latest plan to launch new food range in the diversification strategy will help the company in using new products in order to tap to a new market for meals.
