Answer 1

1. If the child refuses to take the medicine prescribed by the doctor, depending upon the age of the child various methods can be used, for a very young child a syringe can be used and the medicine can be put inside of the child's cheek, For the younger children if it is a tablet or capsule that the child cannot eat it is better to make the powder of the tablet and open the capsule, most of the medicine in the capsules are bitter, the child can be immediately given the fruit juice or a chocolate of his choice after consulting the pharmacist. It would help in reducing the bad taste of the medicine. If the medicine is permissible to keep in the fridge, it can be tried because by keeping the medicine in the fridge the bitterness gets reduced. Or positive reinforcement like appreciating "good boy/girl" "well-done" etc.can be used to encourage the child.

2. If the child is clinging to the pant leg of his mother. It means the child for the first time the child is brought to the center, and till that day he was always at home, and with his parents, and sibling, the environment of the center is unknown and strange for him. The child might have got the feelings that the mother has brought him to the center and she would leave him/her and go.

In the center, the teacher should come forward, love the child by touching his checks, and talk to the mother so that the child would have the feeling that the teacher and the mother know each other. The child would show little interest in the teacher and have a look at both of hem. Slowly pat the cheeks and by holding the hand gently try to remove the with which the child had clung to the pant leg of his mother, strike the cheeks and lovingly take the child away from the mother and say appreciating words for the child.

3. The child who had opened the gate of the playground should be explained and reprimanded because it is necessary that he should knows that it is wrong and risky for the children, a positive punishment should be used to change the behavior,

4. If the child is standing on a chair in the middle of the room at the center, there is a possibility that the child would fall, to avoid child's falling from the chair, no surprise reaction should be shown to the child, because it would make a child lose his balance and fall down, instead of shouting and showing anger or surprise there are two good options one is by giving he child some chocolate as positive reinforcement and tell him to get down to take the chocolate. Or go to the child slowly without the child realizing that you are coming to take the child down the chair, or start talking with the boy, the teacher should know the child's mood and behavior in different circumstances. Thus by telling the child to take the ball or bring the ball he can be easily brought down

5. If the child is whining that the shoes are not fitting, as a teacher the child should be appreciated that he is growing big, if this shoe is not fitting, that means it is the time to get the new shoes, and if possible help the child and see are the shoes really become small or the child is just complaining.

6. If the children are constantly running in the classroom of the care center, the teacher should convert their running into a competition, by making them competing with each keep a prize as positive enforcement and tell them that they would be rewarded after winning the competition thus instead of running around the children they would be made to compete with either and win theorize.

7. If the center is really noisy, it would be difficult to make them quiet, a strategy has to operate like separate the placing arrangement and see that it works or make one of the children stand up to sing a nice song that is appealing to other children if they do not   understand then use negative reinforcement like scolding and punishing them.

8. If the children are coming back from the field trip tired and irritable, it is better to tell the child to get refreshed by taking bath because it relaxes the muscles, then sit with the child give him to eat if he is hungry and asks about the trip if he says something it is ok otherwise do not force the child. He will open and say about the trip once he feels OK to share his experience otherwise do force the child. 9. If the child is again and aging called sweetie because she looks pretty and sweet. The children loved to be called by their names and it irritates them if people spoil their name, it looks like stereotyping and irritating to the child.

If the child is pouring milk back and forth from cup to bowl and back again during lunchtime, I would prefer to look at the child and then ask him to wait and see whether I can do it or now, making the child judge my accuracy this way the child's attention will be diverted and he may stop doing that exercise.
