Answer #1

1.A child has many blocks that she has to put away. What do you say?

I shall encourage her by saying, "You can do it! I know your potential! Let's try."

2.A child yells at you, “my name is not Sweety.” How do you handle that?

I shall say her, "I know that you are not Sweety. Sorry for that! But you are very sweet and charming."

3.A child is pouring milk back and forth from cup to bowl and back again during lunch time. What do you say or do?

It seems from the child's action that she is not interested to drink the milk. I shall say her, "Do you know this milk can make you healthy and powerful? Those who drink milk become strong and wise." This may motivate her to drink the milk quickly.

4. A child is angry and starts to hit, kick, pinch and scratch. What is a way to talk to a child experiencing intense anger?

First of all we can divert the child's mind by showing her the favorite doll. Then we can offer her a candy and ask her gently what made you so angry. This will help us to solve her problem.

5.What do you say when your personal favourite book has been torn into many pieces?

If some child has torn my favourite book, I can say him, "Good babies never tear the books. They respect the books and keep them safe." By the way, I can buy the new book again. There is no good to scold an innocent smaller kid.
