A project you are working on has run into scheduling troubles and the client is enraged. He has asked for a meeting with you and your superior to demand budget concessions. How will you approach the situation and what techniques would you use to settle the dispute?

1st of all identify the main cause of the problem thereby finding the exact solution

Calculate the point of impact for aggression or dis-satisfaction

Analyze the amount of loss that the consumer has incurred

Look for point of profit

Analyze the ways to curb losses and also look for alternative measures for avoiding any further losses

Physical meet with the client should always be carried on with the solution not swooping statements or apologization solely

Swooping statements and past experiences should only be used after a satisfying solution thereby adding as an extra not an ultimate solution.

And lastly find the point of problem if that is a un-intentional should be kept an close eye but if it's because of a permanent thing like a missing machinery or a incompetent employee that should be scrapped immideatly.
