Answer #1

The four strategies which can be adapted to reduce socializing and improving academic performance can be as follows:

- following a routine in which studying and socializing hours are allotted in balance. Students should be given time to socialize also because it is an important element for their overall personality growth. But the limit to it should be determined. Having proper strict hours of studying and other academic work other than socializing will help the students improve performance along with keeping social relations.

- Social media platforms play a big role in increased socializing of students. They get influenced by the social lives of other people and want to imitate the same. They feel socializing and updating about it on social groups will make them identified as part of today's trend. Such thoughts should be rectified and such practices should be controlled. Students should be taught and made aware of the importance of academics over such fake show-offs.

- Making students job career counselling classes which can help them to understand their goals and aims for their future will also make them focus on their academics in the present. With such programs, they will realise the importance of academic performances over socializing and other such time taking activities.

- Very essential is setting an example before the students of how to prioritize things in their life. A culture where everyone gives prioirty to socializing and keep their important tasks and reposnibilities after it cannot be expecting students to follow a decicpline of focusing on acedemics before social activities. Hence to make them follow something setting an example before them is important.
