I am citing the example of Olam International , a agri commodity trading company based in Singapore to explain the answer.

Olam had its origins in Nigeria in Africa by exporting small quantities of cocoa and cashew. Today it is one of the largest agri trading company in the world. Olam invests heavily into training of its new staff . The CEO of Olam conducts a week long "Core Process training" which deals with the governing objective , culture, strategic intent, value appropriation logic, Risk governing etc of the company. The new jionees are well inducted into the culture and core skills of the company. Even when staffs join at different geographies in the world they are repeatedly evaluated on these skills and continuous training programs are organized to further strengthen their understanding of the processes in the organization.

I believe these training programs in the core process of the company has become source of Competitive advantage for the organization.
