Training meaning:First of all we discuss training: In my simple words I can define training is an art of learning something, updation of existing knowledge as per market trends, to gain extra skill to do work in cost effective manner or present the work with more efficiency and effectiveness. There are various types of training like personality development training, soft skills training, Safety measurement training, technical training, professional training etc there are vaious authors who define training for eg as per Gary Dessler Training is the process of teaching new employees the basic skills they need to perform their jobs.

Role of Training in organisation: If a indidual have to take training at its own cost then it will generally hestitate to go ahead. So to overcome these situations and to compete with peers training is generally provided by orgainsation of meet global practicses. Training normally provides a opportunity to its employees to expand there knowledge which helps them in improving there performance, satisfaction, addressing employees weakness, reduction in emplyee turnover, reduced companies work cost with increased efficiency and low cost of supervision.

Benefit of training in competitive advantage: in order to compete with competition organisation has to work is same way as peers do to meet global practices. As learning is a continuous process the employees are generally hestitate to work with new innovations and not comfortable with new machineries therefore Training is a middle way which help them to learn these and make comfortable working environment. It is said change is generally not accepted by employees in order to overcome these weakness training is to be provided on regular basis. In order to gain competitive advantage and as per change in global practices employees should always undergo training to make products cost effective. for eg let us assume there is a bakery company which is involved in breads manufacturing all emplyees have working manually including flour grinding, mixing, rising, baking & shaping now assume a rival company comes place and purchase a automatic machine in which only ingedients given to mahine and within couple of minutes bread is ready which is more cheaper in terms of old company. Now if the old company in involved in same process on manually then it will cost more and make less quantity with loss of share in market. In order to compete with technology bread making company company have to purchase similar machine, let say machine is purchased but now problem is that workers are unknown about handling so they feel comfortable with manual working therefore training provide as mediator in order to reduce hardship. in this way training helps to compete. So only those will be successful in this competitive who is updated with new skills and applies reguarly in workspace.

Real Eg: I am in accounting professionl earlier we have to make account manually for the clients which includes p&l, ledgers, balance sheet and other related schedules. Mostly times this create totalling mistake, wrnog entreries passing which leads a major time. In case there is wrong totalling then it will effect our whole financials and we have to make all balances. thereafter a computer software comes which helps to sort problems and capture all these manual to digital accounting with ready made balancesheet after posting journal.Since I am using manual accounting after digital evolution also due to huge cost of software therefore i lag behind in the race in which competitior provide all financials within couple of days with 100% accuracy and presentation in good format. i loose many clients in order to mitigate that I first take training to learns and upgrade skills how to use it and then use as regular practice. Now today I feel more comfortable with digital instead on manual in this way my self training make me to compete in competitive world.

Five ways in which COVID 19 has training implications:

1 Health organisations: COVID 19 cause a challenge to health industries since there is no vaccination of this panademic therefore every doctors including nurses is trained to meet panademic and recover patient by giving mixture to some medicines to prevent them from death.

2. IT companies : Training are provided to develop new application which help in social distancing along helpful in preventing panademic.

3. Retail and wholesale business : Training are provided by ecommerce companies to build network to sell there products on digital platform instead of physical go to shop and malls.

4. Schools and colleges: Training are provided to use digital platform for learning instead of visiting school premises for learning.

5. Bank : Training are provided for digital journey and awaring consumer to make use more and more digital payment and receipts instead of visiting branches for cash deposit and withdrawl
