Answer #1

1. C6H12O6.....It provides maximum no of ATP i.e 32 ATP in one cycle, whereas pyruvate gives 30 ATP of energy.

2. It's negative delta G and glucose is oxidised....when energy at start of the reaction process is greater than the end product...it is called negative delta G...and it's reacting with oxygen so called oxidation process.

3. Maximum amount of carbon released in form of CO2 is in citric acid cycle.....one cycle release 2 molecules of CO2...whereas during pyruvate metabolism to acetyl co a one molecule is released. Rest don't produce it.

4. Answer is gradient....ATP synthetase couple ATP synthesis during cellular respiration to an electrochemical gradient created by the difference in proton concentration across mitochondrial plasma membrane in eukaryotes and bacteria.

5. The majority of high electron energy collected in cellular respiration is gathered from electron transport chain.

6. One molecule of pyruvate produces 15 ATP in each kreb cycle.

7. One molecule of acetyl co A produces 3NADPH2, 2FADH2 and one GTP....so it's total 14 ATP.
