Answer #1

Sol :

A.) Labour force is the force which includes both employed and unemployed people.

So , Labour force = 5905 + 462 = 6367

B.) Labour force participation rate =

Labour Force / Total Population

= (6367/6948)*100

= 91.63%

C.) Unemployment rate =

(unemployed people/labour force) x 100

= (462/6367) x 100

= 7.25%

D.) New labour force = 5905 + 206 = 6111

(Note : Labour force does not include those who stopped looking for job)
