Answer #1

Intersectionality is a framework for conceptualizing a person, group of people, or social problem as affected by a number of discriminations and disadvantages. It takes into account people’s overlapping identities and experiences in order to understand the complexity of prejudices they face. Intersectionality looks and tries to explore the various basis on which people are oppressed. It disects all the possible parameters and criterion on how people get oppressed. It studies various races and genders and many sections of people try to compare and contrast with other forms of oppression and discrimination. In short we can say that it is comparative study. That's why this is considered to be a useful approach to address the issue of inequality and oppression. It includes all the people disregarding their identity.
