Answer #1

Succession in the Ecology means the change in the species of a place or habitat by removal or distruction over time. Succession can be done by deforestation, volcanic flows, etc.

After succession, the plants that can survive in harsh environments called Pioneer species were the first to occupy the land entirely. After the land becomes stable, then the normal plants began to start.

The organisms that live in harsh environment like weeds, Archae and the plants that produce wind dispersal seeds, seedlings that grow faster, etc began to grow.

Thus in the question says succession of college land lawn. Thus results in the Colonization of pioneer species with weedy characteristics over the lawn.

Hence, option (3) is the correct answer.
