First we have to find the standard divisor Standard divisor Total population Number of allocated items

= 570

The standard quotas are obtained by dividing each state's population by the standard divisor.

Now we want to tabulate the values after the following three steps in Hamilton's method

Step 1: Calculate each group's standard quota by dividing each state's population by the standard divisor.
