Both In-n-out burger and Chick-fill-a are famous privately owned fast food restaurants. The different between their distribution channels are that-

In-N-Out burger operate only in US mostly in 5 states that are California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Texas. on the other hand chick-fill-a operate in international market like Canada, south africa and UK.

The number of stores of In- n-out burger are around 358. On the other hand the number of stores of chick-fill-a are more than 2500 stores.

The one thing that makes in-n-out burger's distribution channels unique is that it provide mobile catering in some Southern California markets and Mobile POS systems are used during peak hours to help curb long drive-thru lines. on the other hand, Chick fill a only provide its service drive thru and its restaurants.
