In at least one paragraph, discuss how each person may be impacted by a diagnosis of dementia and how they may be affected by the emotions indicated below. In your answers, remember that people with dementia are not always elderly, and may be younger and have young children, jobs, and active social circles.

Dementia - progressive loss of brain function which leads to impaired cognition, decreased functional performance and declines socially acceptable behavior.

1) Patient with dementia develops depression as he or she feels low esteemed as they need assistance of others for doing work and also they are not able to work properly because of the imaired cognition .

On seeing close ones being impacted by dementia ,the family members are also affected if proper support is not provided to them . It creates a total disturbance in the family , no one is interested or motivated to do their functions

2) Loss or grief - patient with depression is totally out of confidence and feels so low that they are full of grief and asks why this happened to them

Family memy also are under grief for their close ones disease condition

3) Anger - patient with dementia gets angry when they are not able to recollect , or do a work properly

Family members gets angry when the condition has reached its peak and affects them badly that it causes loss .

4) Social embarrassment - patients with dementia gets embarrassed in the crowd as they are not able to work properly and because of this they vommit mistakes . Also family members get embarrassed by his or her performance.
