Answer #1

1.

There is minimal rivalry with intermodal operation. Airlines tend to contend for distances below 800 miles with other forms of transport. Air carriers that are intramodal are more efficient. This rivalry will cause passengers to struggle with air travel and force the least competitive out of the market. Product rivalry is the main competition between air carriers. Those include departure hours, passenger services, and free services at peak times of day. The market for freight has become serious. Each organization would like to have the best possible service. Sadly, the prices are also higher relative to service providers. Door-to - door service, such as FedEx and UPS, has been provided by competitive firms. The legalization of 1978 led to an rise in airline productivity. Unfortunately, this has led to issues for aviation companies such as leaving late, higher air fares, and increased costs to keep them competitive.
