Ans. (A) Mutase transfers an entire group from one carbon to other, while an isomerase transfers a single atom.

Mutase is an enzyme which catalyses those reaction in which the position of a group or any functional group in a molecule is changed to the other form within the same molecule. Isomerase is an enzyme which changes a molecule from one isomer to other by tranfering only one molecule by rearrangement of atom within a molecule. In this bonds are broken and formed.
