Stamens,sepals,petals,carpels and pinecone scales are not capable of photosynthesis. As for it , chlorophyll is needed.

Pinecone scales is a structure of gymnosperms.

Stamen is male reproductive part of flower and carpel is female reproductive part while sepals and petals are accessary part. Only sepal and petals are modified leaves.

Monocots have parallel venation in which the veins run in straight lines across the length of the leaf without converging however in dicots leaf, veins form net like appearance and hence called reticulate venation.Monocots have scattered vascular bundles dicots have ring like arrangement.tge seedlings posses only one cotyledon and hence the name monocotyledonous plants.monocots have short fibrous roots. The phylum of monocot is Anthophyta.
