The revenue collected from Sales Tax is used by government for providing a comfortable and better life to the citizens. Certain benefits are listed below:

• Public schools are funded from revenues collected from Sales tax.The school system uses the funding to purchase textbooks, pay teachers, build new schools and other educational purposes.
• Revenues collected from sales tax is used by government to pay salaries to security personnel like firefighters, law annd enforcement officers etc. These people provide us a safe and secure surroundings.
• The Public Parks which provide us with clean and fresh air and many recreational activities are funded from revenue collected through Sales tax.
• Some part of Sales tax is also used for development and maintenance of good roads and street signs which is very essential for free and safe movement of people from one place to another.

To conclude Sales tax helps in providing various infrastructural facilities to citizens which make their lives safe, secure and comfortable.
