Gene flow is transfer of genetic information from one generation to next means parents to offspring . Generally it occur by random mating.

Genetic drift is change in frequency of alleles in short population. Generally it occur when gene flow is inhibited in population and some organisms separated from this population and have different gene frequency now.

Genetic drift can be inhibited or recovered  by allowing gene flow in all organisms of population.
