Answer #1

KFC is the American fast-food restaurant chain, which has its headquarters in Kentucky. It is considered as the second-largest restaurant chain in the world. The fried chicken is very addictive due to its secret herb and spices but the company has changed its name KFC due to some reason. One of the reasons to change its name as KFC teams wanted to shorten its name. Another reason is the company shy away from the word "fried" for potential health-conscious sponsors. They also tried to hide out the term "chicken" from the name due to FDA regulations. The company was also trying to keep the health-conscious customers by removing the terms "high cholesterol" and "unhealthy" from the tag which makes the customers choose from the newly added healthy menu items. One of the main reasons is that the company was needed to pay some amount for using the original name so it decided to change its name to it's a shorter form in 1990.

Hope this helps :)
