a) P(160.0 < x < 190.0)=?

This implies that

P(160.0 < x < 190.0) = P(-0.6444 < z < 1.5778) = P(Z < 1.5778) - P(Z < -0.6444)

P(160.0 < x < 190.0) = 0.94269421807713 - 0.259658042272917

b) P(x < 170.5)=?

The z-score at x = 170.5 is,

z = 0.1333

This implies that

c) Given in the question

P(X < x) = 0.08

This implies that

P(Z < -1.4051) = 0.08

With the help of formula for z, we can say that

x = 149.7

d) P(x > 150.0)=?

The z-score at x = 150.0 is,

z = -1.3852

This implies that

P(x > 150.0) = P(z > -1.3852) = 1 - 0.08299566035950795

e) Given in the question

P(X > x) = 0.12

1 - P(X > x) = 1 - 0.12
