In this case, we have two genes. One for eye color and one for tail length. In part A, you obtained 100% pink eyed bird. This could me two things:

The pink color is recessive, so both birds were homozygous recessive and the resulting offspring will be pink eyed

The pink color is dominant and both parents are homozygous dominant or one homozygous dominant and the other one heterozygous.

In the case of long tails, we need a heterozygous parent and a homozygous recessive parent. This will produce 50% short and 50% large tail.
