The given graph shows a sinusoidal relationship between the two variables X and Y here. The amplitude of the graph here is 1, while 6 is the period of the graph here. This suggest that as X increases, then Y increases and reaches the amplitude value of +1 when X reaches 1.5 while after this it decreases after x = 1.5 to 3 where it reaches back at point y = 0. Post x = 3, the value of y starts decreasing and goes till - 1 for x = 4.5.

The period of 3 for the graph here shows that the graph repeats itself every 6 units for x here. The amplitude on the other hand gives the maximum and minimum value that y reaches.
